HELPS member utilities offer various incentives to customers who chose to implement audit recommendations. Eligible measures include insulation, boiler replacement and air sealing.
For all light departments except Chicopee and Westfield (which provide an incentive for insulation only) and Holyoke, Marblehead and Shrewsbury (which run their own incentive programs), the following apply:
- Customer must contract with a service provider to receive HELPS incentive.
- Only measures with the highest Savings to Investment Ratio (SIR), as shown in the audit report, are eligible for incentives. For example, windows will not receive an incentive if the audit report shows that insulation or other measures have a higher SIR.
- Air Sealing is eligible for an incentive. Service provider contact information is provided in your audit packet.
